Although our boundaries are the same as those of Homer Township, the Library District is an independent unit of local government. Our service area includes Homer Glen, unincorporated Homer Township, part of Lockport, and a small part of New Lenox. The purpose of the Homer Township Public Library District is to serve the informational, cultural, and educational needs of all Homer Township residents regardless of age, educational background, race or creeds.
